Malawi

WOW’s first community projects in Malawi were initiated in 2004. Prior to that, WOW’s developed catalytic relationships with a number of pastors, church leaders, and NGOs to shape a greater, church-led response to the Malawian AIDS crisis. It was in 2004 that WOW’s identified a local champion in Lilongwe through which grassroots community transformation could take shape. Today, those communities have become national models of Christ-led community transformation.
