Prayer Update Tuesday August 21, 2012
We greet you in Jesus’ name:
Today we were in Shamabanse – it was encouraging to see the work that has been done since last year’s visit. There has been an extension on the school building and a new building constructed for the care-taker. The project today was to put in a concrete floor in the care-taker’s building.
The team delivered 5 tote-bins to Shamabanse full of school supplies. These supplies will be greatly appreciated, as Shamabanse has 600 students – the largest school that WOW supports.
While some of the team continued to do construction work some of the team paired up with some Kabwe Home Based Care Workers to deliver “Memory Books” to clients that had been visited last week. Oh, that you could have seen the smiles and delight on the faces of the clients as they received the “Memory Books”.
Later in the afternoon the young people from the team played a game of soccer against some of the youth from Pastor Eric’s church. While the game was all in good fun, the final score was in favour of the “WOW” team with a score of 6-1.
We continue to ask for prayer for those on our team who are not feeling 100%, and for God’s protection as we travel to Katuba tomorrow.
Love & Blessings to you from each and every member of the Zambia Team
