Mission Trips

Short-Term Mission Trips provide the opportunity for groups and individuals to work on the front-lines of care - experiencing the work of HIV/AIDS relief, community support and spiritual counseling. In offering hands-on training and support to communities across sub-Saharan Africa you are helping to transform entire communities, teaching sustainability and caring for the most basic needs. Whether you are helping to build a community school or offering home-based care to families in need, you are acting as the hands and feet of Jesus in a nation desperate for love, compassion and a healing touch.

Each trip and team is somewhat different depending on the needs in Africa and the skills, abilities and interests of team members.

"You can't put a value on short term missions. Going and seeing these children running around in ripped clothing - they have nothing. They don't know when they'll eat. As a woman you look at your children and grandchildren. You are motivated, you have to do something. I'm trying to get women together to go on these trips. If we all did our part this wouldn't be happening in Africa or anywhere in the world."Sharon Roberts, WOW Mission Trip Participant
