Wednesday September 1

Pray that many churches will get involved in our WOW Children’s Christmas program .  $20.00 will send a child to school for one year in Africa.

Thursday September 2

Pray for our partners helping those in need in Malawi, Swaziland and Zambia.  As the numbers of widows and orphans increase so their burdens increase.

Friday September 3

Pray that God would prepare the hearts of viewers for the Visionledd/WOW telethon as we prepare to televise next month.   We need more men and women that will partner with us in caring for our brothers and sisters in Africa.

Saturday September 4

Praise God, He is Jehovah-Rohi, “The Lord is my shepherd”. 

Sunday September 5

But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your father, who is unseen.  Then your father who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.  And when you pray, do not keep babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.  Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.  Matthew 6: 6-8

Monday September 6

Pray for our partners in Malawi as they get architectural plans prepared for the new Rape Crisis Centre.  There are many women and children who need a place to go for counseling and refuge.

Tuesday September 7

Praise God for the provision he has made for the youth in some of our communities.  They have received bibles and are empowered to teach God’s word with confidence.  Pray that many young people will come to know Him as their Lord and Saviour.

Wednesday September 8

Pray for the many women who give birth each day to babies that are infected with HIV and AIDS. 

Thursday September 9

Pray for the men in the communities that have heard how to stop the spread of HIV and AIDS and yet continue to ignore it.

Friday September 10

Pray for Jim Cantelon as he prepares to share the message God has given him to preach.  He will be preaching at Selwyn Outreach Center in Peterborough on Sunday September 12.

Saturday September 11

Praise God, He is Jehovah-Jireh, “the Lord will provide”.

Sunday September 12

And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father.  You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.  John 14: 13-14

Monday September 13

Pray for the Home Based Care workers that care for the sick and dying every day.  They need strength, courage, wisdom and help as they go into the worst conditions imaginable.

Tuesday September 14

Pray for the widows as they are often left with children to care for and no money to buy food. 

Wednesday September 15

Pray for the widows programs that God would appoint strong Godly women to lead the others.

Thursday September 16

Pray for the Pastors that they would speak truth into the lives of those who seek their wisdom.  They need bibles to guide them.

Friday September 17

Pray for the young girls in the communities, that they would not be coerced into doing wrong in order to escape the hopelessness of their lives.

Saturday September 18

Praise God, He is El Shaddai, “God Almighty”.

Sunday September 19

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.  The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.  James 5: 16

Monday September 20

Pray for the many women who are suffering in abusive relationships with men who have sexually transmitted diseases.  The women must have safe places to run to with their children.

Tuesday September 21

Pray for Richard Brown, COO and International Director of Visionledd/WOW.  He will be leaving for Malawi tomorrow to work with our partners and get things ready for a huge Youth conference.

Wednesday September 22

Pray that God would raise up men and women to go into the communities to teach about birth control.  There are too many sick and starving children who have no hope for their future.

Thursday September 23

Pray for wisdom and discernment for the staff at Visionledd/WOW as they continue to serve God in what He has called them to do, “help the widow and orphan”.

Friday September 24

Pray that God will continue to supply funds to provide fresh clean water to all our communities.  What a difference this makes in the health of those that have access to the wells.

Saturday September 25

Praise God, he is Jehovah-Rapha, “The Lord our healer”.

Sunday September 26

For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer. 1Peter 3:12a

Monday September 27

Pray for medical help for those that lay sick and dying in their homes.  Often, there is no transportation available to get them to the hospitals for medication and treatment.

Tuesday September 28

Praise God for the donors that pray without ceasing and give so generously. 

Wednesday September 29

Pray for two teams of men and women, one team going to Zambia and the other to Malawi. Pray they would be ready in, body, mind and spirit.  They leave in October.

Thursday September 30

Pray for our CEO and Founder, Jim Cantelon, who leaves today for a youth conference in Malawi.  It will be a busy time for both he and Richard as they bring God’s word to thousands of young people.
